Today, we can present the first axonometric design representation of the burial monument by the architect of the Ministry of Culture Mr. M. Lefantzi.We have two diaphragm walls on which there are placed, the Sphinxes on the first wall and the Caryatids on the second wall. The archaeologists continue with the task of maintenance and structural support.
We also continue the work of all documentation of archaeological excavations, by digital and conventional means.
The excavation is continued on the hill of Kastas by the “KH” Department of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities. The removal of sand continues horizontally across the surface of the site, between the septal wall with caryatids and the third wall, in order to achieve the balance of pressure and ensure constant static balance of the memorial, according to the decisions of the interdisciplinary technical team.
